Desktop Effects

Enabled by default

Desktop and window effects are enabled by default.

If you would like to disable desktop effects:

go to the Cinnamon menu and select System Settings, then click Effects (or open the OhMyDebn menu and select Style > Effects)
click the slider next to Desktop and window effects to disable

Disabling desktop effects also disables gTile's automatic tiling animation.
