Desktop Themes

Default Theme

The default OhMyDebn theme is based on a modified Catppuccin Mocha theme.

Changing Theme

You can change the desktop theme by pressing Ctrl + Super + T. This will bring up a list of installed themes including the default Ohmydebn theme and several themes from Omarchy. There are also options at the end of the list titled Next Background, Install Theme from URL, Install All Omarchy Extra Themes, Build New Theme with Aether, Browse Aether Themes, and Remove Theme. Depending on how many themes you have installed, you may not see all items on the first screen so you may need to use the arrow keys or PageUp/PageDown keys to see all items.

Backgrounds

Some themes include multiple background options. If the theme you select has multiple backgrounds, you can switch to the next background by selecting the Next Background option from the menu. Alternatively, you can press Ctrl + Super + B at any time.

Installing Themes

The Install Theme from URL option allows you to install a new theme from the Omarchy Extra Themes collection.

Install All Omarchy Extra Themes

The Install All Omarchy Extra Themes option allows you to install all themes from the Omarchy Extra Themes collection.

Browse Aether Themes

The Browse Aether Themes option allows you to install a new theme from the Aether Themes collection.

Removing Themes

The Remove Theme option allows you to remove any extra themes that you've installed.

Building New Themes using Aether

The Build New Theme option allows you to build your own theme using the Aether theme builder. Alternatively, you can launch Aether using the hotkey Ctrl + Shift + A. You can then use Aether to search for wallpaper and extract colors to build a desktop theme. Here are a few example screenshots.
